ECA Cultural Arts Day

The Alleghany ECA (Extension Community Association) clubs will be hosting a Cultural Arts Day on Friday, April 5th at the First Baptist Church in Sparta.  The program will consist of guest speaker David Hedrick who will be presenting  on woodworking and leather works followed by heavy finger foods.  Everyone is invited to attend.  You must RSVP to the Alleghany Extension Office by calling (336) 372-5597  no later than Wednesday April 3. The program will begin at 10:00 am.

Members of our ECA organization volunteer in many capacities to enhance their club, county and community.  They spend countless hours volunteering at Alleghany CARES, Solid Rock Food Closet assisting with programming through Extension and more.  Over the past year, Alleghany ECA members have volunteered more than 17,000 hours.  Anyone can become a member of an ECA club.  For more information, contact the Extension Office at 372-5597.
